Freedom food on Auckland’s North Shore

Mimosa’s interior might be described as”country schoolhouse meets banana plantation cabin”

There’s a lot to love about Café Mimosa in central Takapuna. The kooky decor. The wonderful smells. The friendly welcome that staff never fail to give.
But most of all there’s the food. It’s food that’s good, in more ways than one. Many cafés pay lip service to organic options and dietary restriction needs. Mimosa’s menu is praiseworthy for the variety of vegan, raw, gluten-free and organic options available. And everything I’ve tried has been both beautiful and delicious. Try the Japanese-style curry for lunch, or the organic toasted muesli for breakfast and you won’t be disappointed.

Try the organic toasted muesli with bio-farm yogurt and mixed berry compote and you won’t be disappointed.
