I love everything about Curious Croppers.

They are a quirky, heirloom vegetable-producing family, who you can find at the excellent Clevedon Farmers’ Market in south Auckland.

As well as giving their tomatoes and eggplants loads of personality, they also share some ideas on sustainable production. They use low yield, tasty varieties and then keep the pests off by introducing other bugs to eat ’em! How cool is that?!

Find them at Clevedon market or on restaurant plates around the city. Highly recommended.
