I promised to tell you about the cheese which was so great with the Wild Wheat kumara sourdough.
Monte Vecchio is matured for over 12 months to get the ‘vecchio’ (old) label, putting it in the same category as parmigiano and grano types of cheeses. Not sure where you can buy this regularly, but no doubt the usual farmers markets will yield some results.
A great choice for a Ploughman’s lunch. 🙂
